Bucket heads!

This was truly a lovely weekend. Friday night I got to go out for a girls night, much needed may I add. Saturday Pat and I cleaned and got the house ready for a realtor. We have decided that we've outgrown our current house and need a bigger place, with a better set up. Sunday Kendyl and I went to church, then came home and played most of the day. I didn't have to work much at all, so that was nice (mostly because I forgot the work that I was going to do in my office but it was a nice break, I'll make it up tomorrow). Lia and Kendyl started running around with buckets on their heads, so I took a couple of pictures. Even Christian got in on the fun...okay so I put the bucket on his head, but he was a good sport.

Happy Easter!!

Easter weekend was a busy weekend. We were supposed to head to my parents on Friday, but we got snowed in....We made it Saturday, just a little late for Sally's baby shower. It was a really nice shower. She looked great and got a lot of wonderful gifts. I put Christian & Pat (yes the whole family was at the shower) in charge of taking pictures, while I watched Kendyl and Lia. I got a couple of pictures, none with Sally, so I am begging any one and everyone to send me some pictures.

We stopped to see my dad in the nursing home after the shower. He seems to be in very good spirits. It was nice seeing him and catching up. The girls were a big hit at the nursing home and boy were they being big showoffs.

Easter Sunday was really nice. Pat's mom was in for Sally's shower, so she joined us at my moms house for Easter. My cousin's and brother were also there. It was my cousin Kathleen's birthday as well. All in all it was a great weekend.

Hanging out with Christian

The girls and I got decided to go and hang out with Christian for a little bit tonight. We were treated to some cool rap music and got to watch video games.....the life of a teenage boy.
Mom...get out of my room!!!!

Fine you can take one picture if you promise to leave!!!!
Lia, just hanging outKendyl, stealing brother's candy

We had a nice Saturday. I got up early, caught up on a bit of house work and then went out and ran some errands alone. It's amazing how much faster it went without the kids...no temper tantrums, no new toys....thanks Pat...I think I'm going to let you "baby-sit" more often. (However, the crying when I left about ripped my heart out....I got, "mommy please take me with you" and I had to say, "I'll be right back"....oh the guilt.)

Last week, I got to go back and visit at my old job, and see many of the people that I worked with; to all of you checking in to my blog, I just want to say it was great to see you (Barb, Steve, Gary, Julie, Karen, Sharon, Jackie) & I miss you all. We need to do lunch, anyone?!? Also, my new boss surprised me with some gift certificates (dinner and a movie with my husband) as a thank you for working some additional hours.....I was so surprised, as I truly love my new job and am "just doing my job". However, it is really wonderful to have gotten such a wonderful gift. Pat and I are excited and will go on a date very soon.

Pat is doing well, he had a nice time up north last weekend with his brother. Good thing that got that snowmobile ride in, as our snow is almost all gone. We actually took the girls for a walk to the mailbox today (about a 10 min walk....it's at the end of our road for those of you haven't visited us before), it was such a lovely day. I am so excited to have 40 degree weather, I feel like I can actually get out and do stuff, it's been so cold and yucky in Michigan this past winter. I truly have spring fever.

I am hoping that I get to sleep in tomorrow morning. Other than that we have no plans.

Cute Little Princesses

Wow, getting pictures taken costs a fortune. I think ours turned out okay. The girls were not in the best of moods, but we got a couple of cute ones. I have one more set to pick up next week, but here's what we have so far. (I just took pictures of the pictures with my camera, so there not the best quality......grandma's I have pictures for you both....I'll give them to you during Easter).

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Dad & Sean. Kendyl's been practicing her singing....check it out!!!!

And I actually got a picture with all three kids together............wow am I lucky!!!!

Today we are off to the mall to get Easter pictures done. Hopefully they will turn out cute and I'll be able to post them. Nothing exciting to report about the weekend, it was pretty boring, just the way I like things. Pat is up north and I'm at home with the kids (I told him that he owes me a weekend away with out the kids, that should be interesting).

Where has the time gone?

Where has the time gone? I've been really busy with work and play. I've picked up a couple of cute pictures along the way that I need to share with everyone.

Kendyl goofing around

My brother and his friend came for a visit last weekend. We had such a good time. We went out to a surprise party and then went to Yesterdog....some of you may know this place from the movie American Pie. We didn't get home until 2:00am. I can't even remember the last time I stayed up that late. It was fun, but I was pretty sleepy the next day. I was thankful when the girls went down for their naps, I napped too.

I wish I would have taken some pictures to post. I put the camera out, but forgot to bring it.....maybe next time.

The girls are doing well. They are growing like weeds. They had a party at day-care for their friend Emma and both really enjoyed that.
The girls playing Lego's (or should I say with the lego box)

Christian is also doing well, he says that track starts next week. I'd like him to run, but he's not sure yet. He spends a lot of time with his friends and playing video games in his room. I'll have to get a couple of pictures to post of him. He wants some for his face book account, so maybe I'll kill two birds with one stone.

My mom is back, I can't believe that it's been 5 weeks already....time sure flies when your having fun (I guess that's what I'm going to call it) Hopefully my mom will come for a visit this weekend. She told me that she has over 1000 pictures for us to look at.....yikes that's going to take a while.

Lia sleeping after dinner, she does this at least three times a week
