Christmas Day

Look at the excitement in her eyes. Kendyl truly loved opening gifts this year. Lia mostly watched. I had to try and keep up with Kendyl, so I could see what every one got her.

Lia wasn't sure what to think, but she loved her race car pillow. Both Kendyl and Lia requested pillows this year, strange gift request I know, but they really love dragging around pillows and blankets. Kendyl wanted a princess pillow and Lia wanted a race car pillow (I think this idea was implanted in her mind by her sister).

New sleeping bags, for slumber parties.

Christian got some hot sauce (he likes to put it on everything).

Notice the naked Lia in the background. I think my kids spend more time with out clothing on then with clothing on. Kendyl is constantly switching outfits and I can never keep them in clothing. You'd think it was warm out, when we really had a foot of snow outside.

The girls, Kendyl especially, love to dress up. Kendyl would wear dresses everyday, if we had enough of them. Grandma & Grandpa Nelson got them some very nice dresses (Kendyl is wearing one, the one on Lia came from my mom earlier in the year) and some hair clips.

I hope everyone has a blessed and safe new year. We'll blog more in 2009.

I can't believe it's almost Christmas

Wow, is it almost Christmas again, already. It's hard to believe.

With Christmas coming so soon, I am pretty behind. I have all my gifts, I just need to wrap them now. That's my plan for the kids nap time. I'm really looking forward to spending time with family and friends during the holiday season. I will post some Christmas pictures.

Hi Grandma & Grandpa Nelson

I got a request from Grandma Nelson for a video clip, so I have attached one to this blog. We are counting down the days until Santa comes. I think I am the only mom out there that has not taken her babies to see Santa. Lia is afraid of her Dora doll at night, so I can on imagine what fears Santa would bring.

Winter wonderland

Brrh, it's cold out, but the kids love the snow (I like to stay inside and take pictures from the comfort of the house).
